M&M WEDDING

After all the planning, and all the decision making, and all the anxiety we tell our clients, “Let it go. All you can do at this point is enjoy this moment. Its going to fly by and be like a dream. You’ll have to wait for your photos in order to see your wedding. Relax, and take it all in.”

When they actually listen, we know because its all in the smiles, in their eyes, in their body language. We too must look at the photos to see how the wedding day was from a different lens (literally).

The smiles were endless, the joy, the laughter! We live for this. We care so much about the details, and the timeline in order to allow our clients to fully engage in the celebration, but truly we care most that the bride and groom and their parents are super happy and enjoy this life milestone. This is why we do it!

We believe in tradition! Long live it. We like tweaks, but timeless classics are that for a reason.

COLORS... PALETTES

ONE COLOR  may make a statement, but when you COMBINE colors to accent and compliment one another, theres magic. Here are some great combinations that we'd like to see more of.....

This palette can be warmer by amping up the burgundy. Keeping the blush at the forefront softens the tones, its a preference and both are spectacular. 

Burgundy and Blush are great for a Fall / Winter season.  

This great balance of masculine and feminine is the kind of blend we like to see couples utilize.  It speaks to just that, balance and it feels like a joint effort in weddings.  This palette is also able to evoke a classic appeal which works for special occasions.  Its so much funner to explore the variance in hues.

This is a sophisticated tone, but can always be tweaked by exploring more hues and adding more greenery.  By using a sophisitcated palette, you can make a statement without breaking the bank.

From then til now, your personal style is what makes the stripes fresh each time. DO BUY or USE denim shorts, and white tennis. This takes care of the casual component. DO BUY or USE bright colored pair of shoes you have or need to have: We opt for Orange, Red, Fuschia  and yellow as great Stripe pals. 

SPRING CLEANING

This year Angeleenos can really understand the appreciation for Spring! Our Winter was out of character for us, and for those midwest and east, you'd still say it was a piece of cake.  We really had consistent need for our winter wear.  

As Spring is upon us, we are looking forward to our shifts in wardrobe, hair, makeup, home decor, and ATTITUDE.  

Papillon closet consultants are at their best this time of year.  We want to lead you to your blissful closet.  It can happen, give us a ring, we'll get you in gear. 

SPRING GOALS

Maybe we keep more clothes, but we can aim to get to this simplified approach to having great items only. 

Colors we are fond of this cycle:  Greens, Lavender no one wears enough (technically not the trend per-say, doesn't mean we don't love it) and is there a frown in the room when Yellow pops on to the scene?
